Hacking Is it safe to let wii U USB helper to mine your pc?

I don't mind if they mine my PC for coins while the app is running but i'm kind of a cautious person and just wanted to make sure this wasn't some sort of weird virus or something they wanted to inject. Is it safe to let them mine and the mining stops once the program is closed correct?

No, it is only running if the user has consented.
It is an alternate way for people who want to contribute without donating but it's optional.
The miner is only downloaded and executed if the user wants to.
