i'm assuming that you want to install his nand dump on your wii using bootmii. it won't work that way. you can however run his nand dump on your wii with sneek, but i don;t think you can use the bootmii dump. i think you need to dump the nand with with something like simple fs dumper.

Why don't you just install the same stuff on your Wii?
I don't think it's possible.
I mean, i've read about bricked Wii's using other NAND's, but i think it is pretty tricky.
Even if it is possible, it is definitely not safe.
Especially if you're a noob like me.
And it looks like you are.
I would just install the things you want.It doesn't take much time, and there are plenty of guides in here for everything you might possibly want.
Besides, if you need any help, i'm sure you will get some answers around here!
From what i hear ModMii is a good way to softmod your Wii.
Just search for that guide, it should be all you need to get started.

there is a way to possibly use another nand dump. your going to have to have the keys from both consoles and use a program called betwin. i don't know much about it, but i've heard that its complicated. just use sneek to run his nand if you really want to. It will probably be much easier.

No.

Never install other Wii's NAND into yours. Two reasons,

1. Key associated with NAND does not match yours. Wii will refuse to boot mismatched NAND.
2. Every Wii has bad blocks at different locations. Installing different NAND might write bad blocks into wrong places.

Bushing made a tool called betwiin as mentioned on previous post to convert the nand a while back. Look on wiibrew.org. you'll need the keys though. you can extract them from the bootmii dump but getting the bricked wii codes will be tough. You could try using the Savemiifree method with a Gamecube controller. Get a restore disc. Wiibrew used to host some. Dunno if they still do. Take apart a GC controller and take out the cross pad. Put it in GC controller slot 4 on the wii and out the restore disc in the drive. then turn on the wii holding up down left and right simultaneously. It will kick in to maintenance mode and install the restore disc's system menu. Look up savemii free.

you can't clone a Wii, certain things are read from OTP and not from NAND.
WiiShop will 100% break and maybe everything that uses wc24 too.
Online multiplayer might be affected too.
