Is it safe to delete the news and weather channels?

I would make backups of the channels via wad creator first, but I am wondering if anyone else has deleted them, and was there and side effects to doing so.

I would like to free up a few more blocks since I don't use either of those channels at all.

ive actuallt deleted the shop and mii before. just figuring out atd. XD i git them back and nothing has changed.

Im pretty sure that if you do delete them then the next time a system menu update comes out they will be reinstalled again.

According to this, that last A in HAAA means all regions

Does anyone know if the Mii channel is safe to remove?
I know some games (Like Wiisports) use Miis, so I'm afraid to delete it.

yeah, I'm aware of that.

I find it odd that WAD ID would report that wrong though.

For those wondering, they deleted just fine. And it opened 150+ blocks on my system.

I used channel file manager to delete them.

heres what you do...First make backups of those channels using waninkoko's WAD CREATOR then erase them if you like with Anytitledeleter DB mod by red squirel and if you ever want them back you can just install the wads you made with WAD CREATOR

and all is well

how do you recognize what channel is what on PAL wii their all named with numbers?

lol, yep. That was my plan, and that is what I did.


as far as PAL ones, they would be the same, except the last letter of the ones that end with E would be a P.
