Hacking Is it really safe to play online with...

As much as i know, it is reported to be safe to go online with all current Modchips.

Is it also safe to go online if...

- You have WiiWare/Virtual Console Games installed? (of course - you don't have a valid license

)
- You have Gamesaves from USA/JAP/EUR on your Console?
- You have cIOS/cMIOS installed
- You have HomeBrew/Backup/Emu etc.. - Channels installed?
- You have DVDx installed?
- You have changed your Wii to an other Region? Have an foreign Systemmenu installed?
- You play Backups online (Softmod & Modchip)?

Is Nintendo tolerating this ALL? No Ban? No further Trouble? (At least - they have your IP!)

P.S.: If you are under 3.4, will they force you to update if you try playing online? Or will they only try to update if you connect to the Shopchannel directly? How to stop them?!

they do absolutely nothing, and i doubt they record IPs

No forced update online, if you want to use the shop run the shop installer (wiibrew)

That. And they ban you for putting something non-offensive in your motto. They ban you when you kick someone's butt in a game and that someone tells their buddies to file the same complaint on your gamertag so you can get banned.

{edit} also, here is something i bet you didn't know. Try putting the word "help" in your motto and then come back and tell me it was worth 50 bucks!
