Hacking Is it possible to translate Biohazard 0 into english?

Is it possible to translate Biohazard 0 into english?
With the help of trucha and if I would ripp all the text from the GC version.

The wii version has 480p witch looks slighty better 480i.

Thanx, I now got a greater motivation to get better at cpu's.
C++ programming seems very important.

nope, C++ or C knowledge is good when you have the sourcecode
but nobody except Capcom has the sourcecode for this game

translation patch requires a low level comprehension of the game programming as well as high powerPC asm skills
not to say japanese games use completely different textured fonts (kanjis insteac ascii)

your best option is to patch the US version to use 480p, but still require some knowledge of lowlevel programming to found the right place where vidoe mode is configured

It would take you a very long time... I suggest if you have no experience doing so, to not even bother trying. Go do something a little easier

It's possible.. but I don't think it's worth it.

The Wii version has NOTHING new.. not even new motion or pointing controls.. CAPCOM just remapped the GC buttons on the Wiimote+nunchuck.. if you want to play the game, than just play the GC version.

Surely, seeing as this game is pretty much the same thing, couldn't you just copy and paste a huge chunk of where the text is located in the GC version onto the same place in the Wii version?
It's not likely to work, but you never know, they might be exactly the same on the inside.

And i'll agree, as a HUGE RE fan, i hated Zero

There for I did replayed the other ones instead of finishing this.
I still wanna see/play the game through.

People who say RE0 is the worst are either smoking crack or are too young to remember how everyone worshipped this game when it first came out. RE0 and RE1 remake were the best in the series until RE4 came along.

I was anticipating RE0 when it was still slated for n64. As a long time fan, i was not that impressed by re4, the improvements felt like a step backwards to me. Re3 and CV are my favorites.

Res Evil 0 was alright I think, still not finished it, might play the GC one tonight now!
