I heard you could do this but when I searched I couldn't find anything. Is it possible?
It is possible using FTPii but it's not recommended.
You can try it out for yourself to see why it's not recommended.
Let me ascertain, it is NOT recommended due to "primitive" way to write to files on a Filesystem which resides in a disk. Mostly, if you ever HAVE a file transfer error, then you`ll get massive corrupted files due to inconsistent data remaining.
So, really, if you don`t want to scan your drive almost everytime due to failed or corruption writes, you may want to simply take out your disk and transfer files through USB, the main reason on why USB port exists, for "safer" file transfers.
The reason Harmor said that is because it will take an eternity to transfer the game and most of the time if the iso is too big the transfer will result in a corrupted file. (Long time transfer for nothing)
Coto's post explained it more technically.
