Not knowing anything about the music files inside of brawl, I was wondering if it'd be possible to swap music like Texture hacking is done. I'm not sure of the file type, but it'd be interesting. The music just tends to bore me a bit while I play.

There was a link for a converter in the thread but I can't find it. If you guys want to try just look in the Wii Hacking section a few days back. You'll find it after awhile I hope.

Yes you'll need a way to play backups since you can't edit a pre-burned disc.

Found the link! Check out the second to last post!

    Similar to how there's a TV with a built-in PS2.

I do have a Dreamcast mobo I wouldn't mind doing the SD card mod to

But the money of it makes it bleh

I don't recommend those cheap SD card adapters, they feel so flimsy even though the price for them are way too expensive, and are a dollar store SD card reader.
  • M4x1mumReZ @ M4x1mumReZ:
I saw that you can do an internal SD card mod, I've seen a diagram for it somewhere.

Iirc theirs a mod that directly solders to the main board

I haven't seen any available kits for the mod

I suppose you have to resort in buying the components for yourself, after all they cost little.
  • M4x1mumReZ @ M4x1mumReZ:
Why not they do the same with the BIOS replacement kits?
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
I'd rather wait for a kit to become a available

I'm happily more confident to do it myself without a kit.

And If you get a part that might be defective you'd need to wait longer and spend more

They are many repetable component stores to name such as RS Components.

But then there's added tax to the mix.
