I want to run pyGecko, but i'm a noob at the wii U scene so i'm not 100% sure whether I can or not. hELP?

Do I need a game to load via loadiine or can I exit out of loadiine to HBL to a game where I can load pyGecko? (I have not yet gotten it working just curious)
