Is it possible to run installed cia in GW classic mode ?

if i install cia of devmenu in gateway mode and also other games too then if i reboot to gw classic mode will all installed cia is able to run inthis mode?
and do i need the gw redcard to run the classic mode ?

GW Classic Mode is for retail cartridges only. CIAs do not work

and you need the red card to run classic mode if your emunand is updated to the latest version (not sure if you can use MT launcher to bypass that)

you enter Classic Mode with the red card inserted and once you're inside, you replace the red card with your retail card
