Recently one of my ds game's cartridges is acting up and keeps on freezing or not loading properly and I'm getting fed up with it. When I look at the golden pins I see that there are some green marks and I tried to clean it but it simply won't clean, so I want to know if I can open the cartridge and take the "game" out, then open a separate cartridge and switch it? Would I have to reconnect wires or anything like that? Is this possible to do, or is it likely that I'll just ruin my game by trying this?

You may think I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure that you shouldn't "take" the game out because I was told that it is against the law to do that. If I were you, I would go out and get an Acekard or M3 or R4 etc. and just download the game on there.

So your telling him to avoid not breaking a law by breaking the law?

Also on topic.
It is possible to remove the board from it's cartage and put it in another cartage, but I don't know if it's possible to keep it from falling apart since you can't just open a DS game without breaking it

Nope, you can't, because if you switch the "circuit board" in it, you'll switch the entire game altogheter.

You're better off buying some electronics cleaning fluid, then use that on the golden contacts.
