Well first, i dont have a Xbox 360 yet. But i know so much, that it looks like i own one. I have seen MANY Xbox 360 Unboxing videos on Youtube. I pretty much know whats in the box. But one concern is Xbox Live. I am going to buy a 12 Month Xbox Live Card each year. But my wireless internet. I use my neighbors. I used to have internet but my father cut it off. But thats not the point. You see, since i dont have a router, i was thinking of buying my own too a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband:
http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...4&ci_sku=509558

$59.99 from Staples. I know Staples is overpriced on most of there stuff/products but i think this is a reasonable price.

There yay i got a router. But whats a router to do without a modem and a internet service provider? So i was thinking of getting Time warner cable again:

http://www.timewarnerspecial.com/index.html?PID=cj:2383885
It says on there website, they include a Free Wireless Router($50 Value)+$125 Cash Back+Free Cable Modem($50 Value) But this offer only lasts until February 15th, 2008.

Alright I picked my Broadband to connect my Router too. So, so far i got my Router+Internet,Cable,Phone service provider.

But how the hell am i going to set it up? Well I "researched" a little bit and found out some video tutorials on Youtube.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=vSAXMO7aNzg

Alright I saw the video over 4 times. I know how to connect the Ethernet cable stuff onto the modems, etc.
There, i know how to set it up+have a router+have a internet provider.

But wth are you going to do all this when were talking about a Xbox 360?

Well i was digging into Gamestop, and i found this:
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=020253
If you scroll down, it says "Features" One of the tabs.
Copied and pasted:
"* Contains:
- Microsoft XBOX 360 console
- 20 GB Hard drive
- wireless controller
- HD AV cable
- ethernet network cable
- wired XBOX Live headset
- white faceplate
- XBOX Live Silver service"

Yes! It includes a Ethernet Cable! Woot?

So what I'm asking is, can i use the enternet network cable, can i use the front side, connect it to the Xbox 360, then connect the other end on my router?

And if it is possible, is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare a good game to play Xbox Live on?
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200336
Its $59.99 And i know the Xbox 360 Pro Contains 2 free games(I think, i heard.) It was like Marvel Adventures or something(sounds boring wont play much) and a Racing game. Forgot what it was called but for me, 2 games don't last long for me. I'll probley buy CoD 4. So is it worth the price?

Thanks in advice everyone.

so basicaly, what your saying is, you have all your internet set up and everything? becuse if so, all you have to do is plug in the thernet cable into the back of your 360, plug the other end into your router and test your connection

and as for call of duty 4, yes it is an excellent game to play online, i have only ever seen it lag once, which is strange for the 36 as it lags quite a bit
