Homebrew Is it possible to get the legitmate unmodified version of homemenu cia & font

I modified my homemenu cia a long time ago, and I was stupid & forgot to backup my original version of it. (Which means I have some modified text on the system.)

Is there anyway to get a fresh homemenu.cia from somewhere? I know 3DNUS Downloader might help but I can't download anything successfully, no progress is ever made.

If you're struggling to download from 3DNUS, you can source out a firmware pack from "that site" for the firmware you're currently on, then obtain the home menu CIA according to whatever region the FW pack is, and install it using FBI:

JPN - 0004003000008202.cia
USA - 0004003000008F02.cia
EUR - 0004003000009802.cia

Although, I'm not quite sure why you couldn't download anything from 3DNUS, as I managed to download the latest homemenu CIA just fine using 3DNUS 1.9...

not so fresh . . . 3dsguide ctrtransfer section (although you will have to pick it out by title id and by hand)

Okay? Nevermind got it to work, I don't why it didn't work before but now it does. For some reason it used to go up to about 90% and stopped so I could never get a package of a firmware, either that or I was just doing something stupid.

I didn't do much with the text since it takes ages to get everything to work & edit everything, but the general stuff I changed was just small grammar preferences

It used to look much worse when I tried making a dedicated text edit lol.

So I'm not really sure if I did something wrong but at this point I fixed the problem but I still can't tell if its actually "fixed", can someone compare their home menu with mine (with the screenshots above, minus the font and bot_0000.bmp)

Yes; I have a spare 3ds (my sisters old 3ds.) But she doesn't want me to use it for hax sake!

The only thing I know that's changed (for sures) is
- The sleep mode text. of "Software Closed"
- Some text in the settings menu describing what "System Data" does, and deleting things.
- Enlarage & Shrink Icons

There's probably more but its mostly forgotten at this point, but that's basically "the major" things of what might be changed that I can't really tell if its normal or not.
