Is it possible to export VC saves to "normal" emulator saves?

Yeah, well, is that possible? I want to export my save from Phantasy Star IV and play it on other devices.

Yes usually it is. You can use something like FE100 to extract the "data.bin" file and you should have a banner file, a few icon files, a title file, and then the save data. Depending on the game/console it was from, you can just take that save data and load it. I did it with a Super Nintendo game and it worked.

And some games may require a 32 bit Byte flip, I know at least Paper Mario did.

That gives me a *.bin file, but it doesn't seem to work with the emulators I tried (Fusion, Gens). And yes, I renamed the file+extension properly. I don't think a byteflip is needed, since I clearly see a "Phantasy Star 4" string in the save file. I can upload the file if anyone can/wants to try it.

Just upload a emulator save and the virtual console one and I'll convert it for you :)
