Homebrew Is it possible to create a DS emulator for the Homebrew Launcher?

The 3DS doesn't run DS games 'natively' though...the DS still runs it's games...that's why you can't access the functions of the 3DS while it's running..

Your best bet is a flash cart...Why don't you want 'those things'?

So just to throw this in, the DS mode is similar to MIOS on the Wii then? It's going to take a genius the enable the "3DS mode" to run DS games as an interpreter; like Nintendont or DIOS MIOS.

Kinda, yeah. It boots into another OS mode that's compatible with DS games.

It's possible but not worth it. Flashcarts are so cheap. $15 shipped if you want to get a really good one.

Yeah, the only reason Nintendont was made is because the Wii U doesn't officially play GameCube games. I don't see it happening.

Sadly, at this time, there's no DS loaders yet - if you don't want a flashcart you can't play pirated DS games at the time. And to every one saying "never", well, Nintendon't happened on the Wii, it's likely doable.

That said, we had a lot more access on the Wii and Nintendont was made more for the Wii U then the Wii.
