I know that out of the 16 sound channels channels 8 through 13 can use PSG square wave sounds and that channels 15 & 16 can both use more advanced noise generators than on the GBA, but I just want to know if it's possible to use those sound channels in DS games cause technically the DS has GBA sound hardware in it for backwards compatibility and the GBA also has a custom waveform generator which is nice to have as well. If anyone has information on this please do tell, I'm dying to know if it is at all possible to use them in DS games.
