yes i did the game save from gateway is already the .sav im trying to import itto a real cart

Only if the game was made before 6.0 save encryption would there even be a remote chance of that working.

so i have to rip the game from the cart using gateway then inject the .sav thats in the root sd to the rom then export the save from the rom then import the save from the rom to the retail cart. my save is from a rom i downloaded i have the real link between worlds cart now and id like to get my save in my new cart some how




Well.. actually he wants to put it back in the cartridge. That game is card 1, right?

He would have to use the option of GW Menu to put in the save instead of doing it with SDF. But first he would have to inject it in a .3dz rom created from his cartridge so that the save is linked to his header.
And that's assuming the saves between GW and cartridge are compatible in this case

Like I said, you have to follow at least the beginning of the guide to decrypt your save with sdf.

You need to read the guide posted, it walks you through what to rename the save so sdf can read it. Once done boot a cfw or NH to load the save

I prefer to NTR over sdf because I find it easier
