Gaming is it dangerous to use the pokemon platinum (U) cheat

do you know if it is possible to use the pokemon platinum (u) cheat for the pokemon platinum french version if i change the game ID with r4cce, to make the FR version recognized by the cheat of the US version?

can it be dangerous for my ds or not? (problem of adresses etc..)

Won't work and it's not dangerous.

of course it's dangerous!!!!! you're modifying the address in the (FR) version with different data, you're lucky if the game only crashes, the worse it could happen is a crash + corrupt save file

The worst case scenario it won't load.

it won't load but your save file might be untouched, a save corrupt is more serious

since the german version got a different address than the U or J
so i aspect all pokemons got their own set of code
