I pay for Spotify, just 1 click and it's stored for offline use. Quality is decent enough and the selection is good.
No hassles, no need for backing up shit and always available.

Streaming is good for discovering music, but they keep removing music I actually like, so if I really like something the only way to be sure I'll be able to listen to it in the future is to download it.
I use Soundcloud a lot, and the music I listen to there probably won't be deleted, but I cancelled my Tidal subscription (which I used instead of Spotify because I got half off) since my playlist was full of unplayable songs due to deletion, there just wasn't any point in keeping it anymore. I downloaded all the music I had in my playlist so I can listen to it.

Good Morning.❤️😉

Things, that seems important to me,I get it on Vinyl/MC Cassette.
I have learned enough about "Censorship/Adjustments/societal Changes in content etc." so always try to get an original MC or Vinyl.
CD in most Cases sucks....as also Downloads & Streams with "Disclaimers" which explain to you before you listen to it how bad and evil the times used to be...

The same goes for "legal disputes" between musicians and companies like Sony, for example, who then later bring modified CD / download / stream versions onto the market with sometimes completely different songs/titles....

Both, but I must say lately I stream my own flac collection with Jellyfin and that works very well.
Since 2003 I'm collecting music, built up a huge collection off music (2TB) form downloads and ripped cd's from my own collection. I do have YouTube Music, but I mosly use Jellyfin to my music.

Always try to track down physical CD's unless its an album that would cost me more to import than to buy digitally.

I've imported CD's from Europe and those are cheap, from Japan though it can get expensive. Specially the niche stuff like old dance compilations and the such, even eurobeat compilations can get quite expensive.
