Hacking Is homebrew possible on wiikey, cyclo, etc..?

I've seen on many sites it says that homebrew booting is not possible on these chips, and I know noone has had time to really develop any homebrew yet anyway. But theoretically since these chips boot Wii backups; it is possible to boot a homebrew from a disc formatted to appear as a Wii disc, correct?

Oh cool; thanks. That answers it. So I guess if some day someone breaks the encryption of Wii discs then homebrew on Wiikey could be possible via a bootable disc.

Yup, all modchips will let you run homebrew once the encryption (if it ever is) is cracked, Just burn it to disc. Im sure if the encryption is cracked we could make a custom bios and flash the wii via dvd.
