Hacking is Firmware different for - M3 SD vs M3 CF?

i went over to linfox domain to get fimware for my M3 Compact Flash,

but all they have is;

updagcsd

updateGC

Which one am i supposed to use?

you can get the CF one from here, it is labeled in english for you.

or you can get the linfox one, it is the updateGC one.

running the wrong firmware on the wrong card can brick it. this was a warning originally posted on the m3 site (now long gone).

ok, wait, is v35 the last one or V36. i tried updagcsd.b36.zip and it said "please use english version"!

what the ---- do the letters mean??

is e35 mean english? i thought a, b, c , meant "Alpha release", "Beta Release".....

bah never mind i figured it out after.

but i still dont get why china got another release, v36, and english carts didnt.

and what language is "B"? isnt chinese either Mandarin or Cantonese?
they should have put .m36, and .c36.
