Hello I'm considering purchasing an EZ flash IV and I was curious about the compatibility and ease of use. In other words how easy is it to set up? and what games if any require special attention?

    It doesn't.
Your miniSD should come with an SD adapter, though.

The only games that don't work are nes classics I think.

Forget the NES classics- get a copy of pocketNES or HVCA. A couple of the Dragon Ball ? games had AP but patches should be around and I think Samurai Deeper Kyo had AP as well but I am not sure that got patched. Other than that you are looking at the games with sensors (tilt/solar) and RTC which should have patches.

Also we suggest people avoid the adapters and find a proper miniSD- the adapters have a long history of connection issues.

Yes, but these things are harder to find than you think. I'd advise searching amazon. Most of them these days don't come with the miniSD adapter because it's obsolete.
