Just wondering if they're a trustworthy site.

    http://www.dev-scene.com/Main_Page

I've seen cool and interesting Homebrew on their site that I've never seen anywhere else before... Makes me think twice.

think twice about what? the files being unsafe? WTF are they gonna do, put bugs on your micro sd? lol.

no, that site is a wonderful site. It's one of the best I've found for homebrew.

EDIT: imo, here's the most aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate part of the site for finding homebrew: http://www.dev-scene.com/NDS/Homebrew_Catalog

Actually, some homebrew can brick your DS. Rendering it useless. [IMG]

    yeah, technically...

but people only do that to be a dickhead. devscene is a legitimate site that only posts releases made by actual programmers, and it's after testing them out first.

p.s. I have accidentally run bricker programs before, and all it did was freeze up my ds so I couldn't soft reset. after I turned off the ds and turned it back on everything was just dandy.

Actually yeah, Pro D. days are days where all the teachers in the district go to seminars/exchange ideas with each other and what not. So it really is a chance for professionals to develop [IMG]. Well, at least it was when I went to school.

Ah yes, because since they're new they should be given an outdated database of available homebrew?

Except there are other sites that don't have alot of missing homebrew.

Also, lets see which homebrew I'm using now thats actually listed.

    Rudolph's 3 in 1 Tool: Not listed.
    ComicBookDS: Not listed.
    DSHobro: Not listed.
    Lameboy: Not listed.
    SNEmulDS: Outdated version listed.
    GBALdr: Not listed.
Licks Media Player: Outdated version listed.
    POWDER: Listed, but nothing there.
    World of Sand: Not listed.

I don't know why I would recommend to someone a homebrew catalog thats missing almost all the homebrew I find useful.

EDIT: GBA_Temper, you can start with those.

actually, those are ALL there. you must just not know where to look.

Use the fucking search tool at the top of the page. I searched every single one of the homebrew you listed, and they are all either in the nintendo ds emulation or nintendo ds software sections.

quit being such a jackass. you don't have any fucking idea what you're talking about. If anything, ds-scene is more up-to-date than gbatemp. I use their release list instead of the gbatemp one, because they usually get games listed a few hourse before gbatemp does.

however, gbatemp does have a wonderful forum, so I prefer it as a website in general.
