It's one of the most played PC games.

So yes if you enjoy Counterstrike.

No CS:GO will be 14.99USD at launch. And it looks like a more refined version of CS:Source.

I got it free, so I can't say how good the sales are.

People will still play CS: Source though, most likely. People still play the original Counterstrike even after CS: Source came out.

    How :O
You can comment on the game though, especially it's community since that's a big aspect of FPS online gaming.

20 euros? Wow, I feel quite bad for you :(
It's $9.99 here and now it's $3.40 on sale. But I'm going to wait for the summer sales, I'll probably get the entire valve complete pack for the same price.
    B-)

Valve pack plus sales plus discount codes = many free games. In fact, I've only paid for 3 games from valve, L4D2, portal and 2.

As for the game itself... It's CS without the riot shields. The mods are pretty good though (e.g. sourceForts). I used to spend a lot of time on the mods, but I've moved on from most FPS games now.

:O wow man! do you think they'll do a summer sale soon again? and when do those start btw?
cool, i'll think i'll just wait for that pack then :/ not sure though, such packs with like 30 games in them are really things i won't play a lot, just too much supply and i only have so much time :/

    thanks all for replying

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL visit the CS:GO forums and it's nothing but negativity. I'm sure it'll be good by launch, but there is so much they've neglected to include that it isn't funny.
Not to mention a key factor of fun in CSS is the mountain of custom maps. It'll take a while for GO to get good maps to play on.

CSS is well worth the money for the best tactical FPS still goin'. Valve did the genre good by creating the best wacky (TF2) and best serious FPS (CS1.6/CSS) so far.
It's already well worth the price, but it usually doesn't go on sale till major holidays, excluding very infrequent weekend sales.

Good game, but not noob friendly at all. surf/gun game/zombie mod are all very fun though if you ever get bored of standard maps.
