Hi there,

so a bunch of people are having problems with HomeMenuHax lately because they use it on Sysnand before creating Emunand and then it goes into Emunand and makes the device reboot all the time when starting CFW or freeze. I tell them in my tutorial to change themes before creating Emunand so that the Menuhax is broken. A user reported that with the newest version not the theme engine, but the theme shuffle engine is used and changing themes is not enough to kill the Menuhax.

That also causes problems like "home menu is preparing" and then blackscreen when updating to latest Emunand.

So what is an efficient way to break Menuhax, other than uninstalling it from the Manager? I always though changing themes is enough.

I believe changing themes is still enough in almost every case. To clarify, the specific issue here was that changing themes while running 9.2 did not break the shuffle-based hax used for versions 10.2+, because 9.2 doesn't support shuffle so doesn't know to clear it.
