Is Britain in its current state as bad as the media makes it out to be?

I'd need to see the receipts to buy into that theory..
Tommy 10names, Stephen Yaxley: Irish national hopping to Cyprus who now has probably left for russia and who's been funded by the US far right + massive untraceable bitcoin sums from anonymous donors
Elon Musk: south african actively allowing fascists a platform to organise and actviely paying them for content on Xitter
Australian righwing been funding the EDL for years
US groups like the Middle East forum or Gatestone also big EDL funders

Last but not least, MI6 has been considering this idea seriously so...

Anybody who thinks these riots have any meaning left in them is deluded or just racist, closet or otherwise. When you’ve got gammons sporting nazi tattoos in the street, you’ve got enough proof that many of these people have just been waiting for their excuse.
Calling white people Gammons is racist as fuck, or do you think that racism only applies to white people? With people like you coming out with shit like that you are too far up your own arse to see that you are part of the problem. I dare you to start coming out with racist phrases for black and brown people, you racist pillock.

Russia
You sure can, if you want to be ridiculed even more. The fact that Russia bankrolls the european far-right is, as I said, a fact.
Nonsense, the same Nigel Farage took a job at GB News because he was broke, but then came the elections and suddenly he and the party he founded had found plenty of money to hold an entire campaign, hold rallies and so on.
Obviously Farage has received support and funding from a section of the British elite sympathetic to him. Which doesn't necessitate all of the elite having to support him, or most of them. When Mussolini decided to march on Rome in 1922 with his Fascist party, the Italian government did not sanction it, it attempted to stop him in fact. But he had enough support among the Italian business class and political elite to pull it off regardless, and in fact the same Italian Prime Minister who opposed him was forced to resign. Not that I'm comparing Farage with Mussolini, I'm simply bringing up the episode to illustrate how political intrigues work.

The same Tommy Robinson also has the backing of part of the British elite. His focus was to concentrate latent dissatisfaction with immigration against purely the Muslim population, while giving a pass to all other groups. And essentially to create an establishment-sanctioned competitor to the BNP and Nick Griffin.
And in fact it's not a co-incidence that with the renewed outbreak of the Israel-Palestine war and the outbreak of mass protests in the support of Palestine (named 'pro-Hamas' protests by everyone from the Labour party to the same nationalist commentators), nationalist and anti-immigrant rhetoric in Britain has only accelerated, and the favour of these same nationalist Youtube channels and organizations towards Israel is evident too. But I digress.

So no I'm afraid that Britain's mess is entirely home-grown. Russia has nothing to do with it. I mean, I guess Russia would be foolish not to attempt to destabilize its enemies at a time when they are attempting to destroy it - I just don't think that it has the means to give right-wing parties in Europe funds without scrutiny and detection. Nor did it even before the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis in 2022, really. And honestly, they aren't Russia's friends either anyway. At most Russia can stand to benefit from a little instability before these new right-wing elites cement their power. The Europeans desire cultural, financial and ideological supremacy in the world, the only difference between the globalists and the nationalists whether Le Pen or Farage or whoever, is that the nationalists would be prepared to 'invite Russia into the club' before attempting to reassert Western hegemony over the rest of the world. But this is of no interest to Russia at all, it has thrown its lot in with the BRICS wholesale and there is nothing more to discuss here

Lots of incorrect non-sequiturs here. And Mussolini was given the get-go by the King. Doesn't get any more elite than that.

Not worth the paper it's written on tbh but sure
Issue with having parliament be entirely sovereign is they can change anything at a whim

I've seen poor on my travels, UK is far from poor. For a country like UK with its power and resources, it should be in a better state. Saying that. Tories robbed the country, then left a note saying nothing left in the vaults. Truss and Johnson should be sent to prison.... the bare minimum.
Actually that was the previous Labour government that left the note for the conservatives. You should get your facts right before spreading lies.

Oh yes, the Tories definitely didn't fuck the shit out of the UK for the past 14 years

It was of course 15 years ago Labour done it!

And labor is to blame for the immigrants too of course - no matter the current wave is the highest ever recorded period under any government

Thanks Tories

One thing I can tell you is Glasgow does not have and never has had "street con artists"... We just call them junkies!
Cool! My city in the US has them too! In fact, some of them live across the street from me in tents, and their broken down cars!

The immigration started under Blair (Labour) and the cons continued it, now Labour are doing the same - basically both are as bad as each other but as far as making the country bankrupt, this was the fault of the last Labour government and you can bitch about that as much as you want but you can't re-write history.

The letter was written by Liam Byrne, chief secretary to the Treasury under Gordon Brown.

Not agreeing with you, but using your own logic - let's say labour did it 15+ years ago

Can I ask - The Tories did or didn't try to fix that over the past 14 years? Were they just wildly incompetent?
