Alright, I can safely say I got arm9loaderhax running on my New 3DS! It was one hell of a ride though. Loads of paranoia.

All I can say about the process is, if you're paranoid about it all and your setup works fine right now, stay where you are until you feel comfortable going through the process. It's easy, but it's really long. It's taken quite a chunk of my day.
However, if you're like me and you were having issues with menuhax, go ahead and do it. Menuhax was crashing on me while I was setting up A9LH. Luckily it didn't affect the processes of getting A9LH set up in general.

Thanks to everyone who sent their input, helped me get a clearer/better peace of mind.

I totally agree with that someone just needs to make one zip that you drag and drop that would make the process like 85% better. You still would have to downgrade but honestly, they could probably just automate most of it. They automate quite a bit of the steps in the OTP helper already if they can somehow just make it do all the formatting and dumping in the app that would be pretty sweet if it's possible.

Good job! Now I have to suggest something. Setup aureinand with payloads for Decrypt9 EmuNand9 GodMode9 And Uncart. Then your 100% set. If your intrested I can message you a premade payloads folder so you just have to place it in the folder.

I'm using the setup for Cakes right now (as described in the tutorial), but thanks for the offer!

I think there is progress for that. For instance, OTPHelper will automate a lot of the actions like you said (and will check the sysNAND to prevent most if not all bricks). SafeA9LHInstaller pretty much does in seconds what compiling and running your console-specific 3DSX installer did, and from what I've seen it has been reliable. I think it was getting the OTP that was the most excruciating part, but after that, the installation is easy. Just make sure you check your OTP before installing A9LH to your console (OTPHelper does this)

(right now I'm backing up the individual partitions on my emuNAND to place onto my sysNAND.)

I imagine they could merge the OTPHelper and actual installer fairly easily. I kind of wonder if they can double format the system and downgrade it without ever exiting the app if that was possible it would be awesome.
