Hacking Is a timebombed cart non-timebombed when flashed with NTRBoot?

I would like to know if it is or if it only applies to the game mode.
I have R4i B9S. (I have to flash it with a thing to play games with it.)

Would you happen to know what I would do to get ysmenu? I'm having some trouble finding a version that is for R4I B9S , and Google's giving me threads for different flashcards

the timebomb should not affect ntrboot, if i understand correctly, as the bomb is in the kernal on the sdcard, not the cards firmware.

yeah, it should only affect the card if you are using it to play games with it.

Yeah, I want to keep it in ntrboot mode, it's my recovery card. I still have it as ntrboot mode

note that ysmenu does not always work 100% on r4isdhc.com carts, though i believe it IS reliable on r4i-sdhc.com ones.
