Hello.

Is there any PS4 game pkg that won't fit on a 64 GB flash drive?

Note: 64 GB = ~59.60 GB in Windows: https://www.google.com/search?q=64+gb+=+?+gib

Largest one I could find is Uncharted 4, clocking in at 56.69 GB (so it should fit fine).

Or is a 128 GB recommended, so that it would also fit game updates and stuff?

It should be enough for one game.

afaik, there are no triple layer ps4 games, so that should work. the largest game I've seen is FFX HD Remastered at 49.7GBs.

edit: I take that back. if uncharted is that large, then maybe there are triple layer games out there, but they must be rare.

According to Wikipedia, Bluray discs can hold 25 GB of data, and 50 GB for dual layer. There are triple layer BD's (100 GB) and 4 layer ones (128 GB), but the PS4 can only read single and double layer.

Uncharted 4 takes up more than 50 GB probably because the pkg uses a less intensive compression (so it installs faster).

I decided to buy a new harddisk dedicated for ps4 games. But I am not sure how many games exceed 64 GB size.

There are only a few, base games on disc (no updates or dlc) never exceed 50gb.

the settings in pubgen specify 25gb or 50gb (single/dual) for disc publications.

Digital must be fairly unlimited.
Sto usando una chiavetta USB 3.0 con scheda micro SD da 64 GB ... abbastanza per quasi tutti i giochi.

English speaking only please in forums.
