Hardware is 83c a little too toasty

Try to lower your Voltage. Most Intel cpu's draw to much power anyway on base clock. 83 is not gonna kill your cpu but for an older chipset it is quite high. My 7700k used to run around 85 and then i delidded it and now it usually runs on 5.2 ghz around 70-75 wich i'm okay with.
85 would be fine if it is OC'D but seeing as your is still running at its base clock well it is quite high for that. Just lower the voltage a bit and do a stresstest till you can't go any lower.

You should do your research before you comment on something you know nothing about....

I think my argument has been adequately fought on my behalf in my absence but just to clarify, yes I was referring to the part about all measurements for PC components being in Celsius "because they are higher" not making any sense.
