hmm, ive got a wire hardness for a Xecuter 2.6 CE sitting around with really small wires, would this be better?

Dont know how small of a guage it is, but its really small

is there such thing as too small?

I knwo 30awg cable is cheap, but all thesource is closed down here in richmond ==" well except for the one in Richmond Center but if there is an alternative, I will use the IDE cable instead

I used wires I had left from Team Xecuter mods and they worked fine. From reading the text on the wire, it looked like they were 28 awg. I have zero DREs (and this is on a Wiinja v1), not sure if the wiring can play a factor in that. So you can use those wires fine, and they were the perfect length.

24 is kinda getting big for wii, but prob doable if your real careful. try cutting a USB cable, usually "Data -" and "Data +" are small so prob can use for modding if you dont have anything else, VCC and GND in usb is about 24awg
