Its part of the official 3DS SDK. It lets you export and import decrypted extData, entire saves, and just parts of a save.

I think the reason Smealum was absent was because he had to reveal the exploit to nintendo, hence why they're patching it. How would Nintendo know what the exploit was if it was never released?

How do you know this though? smealum has proven himself with ninjhax 1 and 2, so when he says he found an exploit in a game for homebrew, he's probably not kidding.

I know, I'm saying that Nintendo wouldn't easily be able to patch an exploit if they don't know the ACTUAL EXPLOIT ITSELF is and how it's used. I don't think you understood me for a moment.
