Ironfall: Invasion was discovered to have an exploit that will allow homebrew to run on the 3DS. As far as I know, it's the first free game on the eShop to have one discovered. Just a little while ago, the game finally disappeared from the NA and EU shops, despite hacker @smealum telling us to download it over a week ago.

I know what has happended, I just did not understand why everyone is so excited.

Yes, being free means a much wider audience would get to try out homebrew on the 3DS.

Yep, cause Cubic Ninja is expensive as hell so Ironfall makes a good alternative to those who cannot afford to pay the high scalper prices.

So I can conclude that smealum is facing legal problems and the hack is most likely getting cancelled. This is all no coincidence.
