Sorry I've never played either of them didn't realize there was a difference.

There's an ancient DS source branch belonging to the Doom64ex project. I guess the community really wasn't interested in DS homebrew at the time and svkaiser - the projects maintainer - silently moved on. The desktop versions are fine though. In a very old devkitpro thread, we actually see doom64ex running on DS hardware. However currently, upon building against the latest devkitARM, Doom64ex almost immediately crashes.
I think most of the heavy-lifting has already been done by svkaiser. In fact, I think he actually mentions that the game is fully playable on the hardware. Seeing this running at 60fps and in 3D would be a treat.

Honestly people should have a backup way to use homebrew anyway, relying on one exploit isn't a good idea in any sense. That's why I'm waiting for Ironhax, as a backup to my cubic ninja cart, and on the off chance it could provide kernel access in the future. Smea will release when he can, he probably just found some last minute bugs that are being a pain to knock out. Just play some games that you put on the backburner for a while, that's what I'm doing currently! :yaysp: Patience young crickets. :P It's better to wait for a finished product than to get a half-baked one! :teach:

You got me wrong, i don't hate him by any means, just a little dissapointed is all. I might understand if something serious actually happened and that's why he hasn't said anything.

In the meantime I decided I'd play through TLoZ: Link's Awakening DX for the first time. On a side note, that game is REALLY FREAKIN' GOOD. :yaysp:

Will you give me mouth to mouth oxygen if my throat closes?
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Nah the air can do that
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Ask @x65943 he's trained for that stuff
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
Kissing random dudes choking in celery? Really? Need to study for that?

    Yes it requires a degree
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
I could also yank out the rest of my teeth but theirs professionals for that
  • x65943 @ x65943:
If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
    Just kiss me Kyle.
  • x65943 @ x65943:
You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
  • x65943 @ x65943:
"Just kiss me Kyle." And I thought all the godreborn gay stuff was a smear campaign
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
If I die, tell my momma I won't be carrying Baby Jesus this christmas :cry:

Seems like, your PSU was waiting for a partner.
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:

  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Well one you insert one PSU into the other one you get power
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
