Finished Tubehax and IronHax successfully. The only Problem which i get is that i can't seem to get CitrAGB to work.

My System is New 3DS with 9.9.0-26E.
Every Time i tried it (for more than 2 hours) I get the picture below...
Tried to use an emuparadise Bios and the bios from the official citragb thread in this Forum.
I even tried all the files from the Thread and copied them to my SD Card but they aren't working for me.
Thats the thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/citragb-3ds-gba-emulator-wip.376438/

My ways to get it to work:
1. Just copy it all to the folder citeagb
2. Copy it all to a new Folder named gba
3. Copy all the files like said in the citragb thread
4. Copy all the files to the root of my SD Card
5. Renamed the bios many times -.-
6. Some Mixed Options from the ways above.

It's kinda Frustating because it was the feature which i am most interested in and to read that all the other New3DS Users can play the emulator...

Btw. I've used both hack with the same ending and hacked my 3DS with the Starter Kit from Smealum...

Heres the error Screen which i get every time...

Trying to get TubeHax and IronHax working on old3DS and old3DSXL on 9.9.0.26E without success.

TubeHax loads with only regionfree but nothing else.

The user interface is fairly poor as it does not confirm which firmware version is loaded.

Also in setup, what's the point of the 3ds/ folder in addition to boot.3dsx .

In order for homebrew to run on your system, you will need to place a few files on your SD card :
  • boot.3dsx : this file should be placed at the root of your SD card. It's what ninjhax/ironhax/tubehax will run first ! Usually, this is the Homebrew Launcher.
  • 3ds/ : this folder will contain all the homebrew applications you want to install to your system. You can either place 3DSX files directly inside of that folder, or create an individual folder for each application you install.

I thought this was going to be simple. :nayps3:

I hope Yachtclub releases their DLC they've been hinting at before Nintendo releases a firmware

The 3ds folder is where you put your homebrew. If it's empty, that's why there's nothing showing up except regionfree.

That's just pure genius. :teach:

Now why isn't it made clear in the instructions or the Homebrew starter kit if its so obvious. :glare:

To make things easier, we put together the homebrew starter kit; you can just download it and extract it at the root of your SD card.

Next problem with IronHax is Failed to Install /Data0, Error Code : C8804465

It was pretty clear to me, but I have a whole pile of consoles and handhelds I've ran homebrew on, so it might just be I'm used to it. As for the error code, I can't help you there. IronHax installed just fine for me.

I thought it was easy, and it was, since I followed smea for a long time on Twitter

If you extract the starter kit at the root of your SD CARD as indicated then it automatically creates the /3ds folder and fills it with some applications.
Not sure how exactly these instructions could be made clearer.
