Yeah, even then, you can't connect your NNID to the old console after it's been transferred and I think all of the titles will be deleted if you try to connect to eShop or something with it. So it's almost useless unless you have a bunch of retro titles only and carts to play from.

Why? Why couldn't you emulate the missing hardware? unless, I suppose, it needed extra ram that the o3ds just doesn't have.

Yeah, it's mostly hardware related issues.

Yesterday I had two 3DSs next to each other. I setup a new NNID on both of them. One finished quicker, [30 seconds or less] and I started Ironfall download. I went on the second one, the page said "Software Unavailable" and I assumed it was because they were on the same network and maybe Nintendo had some sort of implementation to prevent the same download of content on the same network for traffic reasons. I wait an hour. Still it says unavailable. I turn it off and start eShop again. Now Ironfall does not even show up in the eShop.

I found out today it was pulled. I MADE IT BY 30 SECONDS ON ONE OF THE 3DSs
