I hate how people keep talking shit about Smea, and as what I am about to say, I don't agree with the annoying ranters.
But when Smea shows a video, tells us to expect a release date, and then just doesn't post anything for 3 days, It's just a little mean.
I'm not trying to sound like and entitled little shit, and never will I agree with those annoying litting ranting pr!cks, but maybe Smea should just give us a bit of info.

I find it funny everyone is ranting and raving about it, then he comes out on Reddit for about an hour to post pretty lengthy defenses, but no more detail on the actual release to calm the masses. I don't care either way, but that's just what I observe.

I want to have this for playing homebrew, but there barely is any homebrew that will benefit me. All the emulators that work are avaliable on my phone or laptop too, and they don't intrest me anyways. And there are no N64 or PS1 emulators *yet* (would be cool), and they won't come anytime soon.

I don't see why not, if it's in your ticket.db and you have the files on your SD, just do a computer or wifi copy during the transfer.

Do it the SD Transfer way, the one where it'll do some WiFi work, then manually move everything between SD cards. It in theory should work but I'm not promising anything.

Heh, I am asking myself the exact same thing. I have a Note 3 for portable retro emulation which is far more capable than a 3DS, to the point where I could play n64 and ps1 fine but idk I guess it's more 'special' on the 3DS? Haha anyway you rose a pretty difficult question for me too!

I say just get it. Signiture patches are sure to follow eventually.

I also feel the same way. However, I can't stand using touchscreens over actual buttons for emulators. I had a PSP a while back, and I used the GBA Emulator and other emulators wayyy more than I ever have on a phone/touchscreen device.

Ah, this thread reminds me of the old Gate-wait days, with conspiracy theories up the wazoo and waiting. I say if you are waiting for Ironhax, play Ironfall if you don't own better games and if you do, play those better games. If you don't have any games, do something on your PC. That's how I got through my Gate-wait . Anyways, hopefully no legal actions are being taken against Smea, and hope the release goes well for the people still at 9.9. You guys get to feel what the 9.2 people felt like before . Hopefully it doesn't take 1000 pages for it to release.

Not to mention, emulators drain your phone like crazy! Playing some GBA games for 15 minutes drags my battery down to 80℅ already!
