Hold the central button and the menu button for a few seconds. You should see the apple logo after a while, that means it rebooted correctly.

Any idea on what to do if the clickwheel stops working?

I've got an iPod where nothing on the wheel works.

However, if the iPod is in deep sleep, clicking the wheel will turn it back on.
But then the wheel won't do anything on the menus.

The hold switch still enables/disables the lock icon.

I've tried holding menu+center, but it doesn't do anything.

    Any ideas?

Hey DeVante... I know it's a shot in the dark, but go through the apple-sanctioned fixes first, if you haven't already.

If none of that works, you could take the wheel assembly off and see if it's gunked up underneath.

    Hope something works for you.

you could also try Ipod Linux...another OS would definately confirm or disprove a hardware fault.
