Apple iPod touch randomly turns off and

Hello everyone. My iPod touch keeps going into sleep mode (like the button on top), it also keeps rising my volume. And also that button I said about, it's like its being held on, then gives a option to slide to turn off.
Please help!

Have you gotten the iPod wet at any point in time?

Do u have it set to random?

Souns like your buttons are stuck. I dont know how you would clean them
