Ipod Touch Out???

I just saw a youtube video with someone reviewing his ipod touch he recieved from bestbuy today.
Then I checked Bestbuy's website and doesn't say anything about pre-ordering it.

So I was just wondering if someone can clear this up for me and also if people already has this.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm gonna go check tomorrow after school and go to my local Bestbuys.

They have been out for a few days. There was no official release date, just "by the end of the month." My order is scheduled to ship by the 28th, not on it. I also confirmed at my local Apple store today that they have had several shipments already come and go this week and are expecting more tomorrow.

I'm in New York. I'm going to check again with them tomorrow...if they have two 16GB touches in stock, I'm going to cancel my online order and just pick them up instead. I'm tired of waiting!

yeah they are just releasing them, idk why though. my friend bought one in NY yesterday because they had an overstock. i think that might have been the problem.

It's not that they got them early, there was no set release date. They just started shipping when the became available. So, places like Best Buy, Target, and the Apple Stores may have had them earlier this week depending on the area.

It's causing quite a stir with the Mac zealots as those of us who ordered them when they were announced on Sept 5th are still waiting for ours to ship, but lots of other people can just go pick them up in a store. I'm anxious to get mine, but not enough to bitch and moan like some of these people who feel that they are entitled to get theirs before everyone else.

Don't waste your money on one. You can get something alot better for cheaper. The sound quality on iPods are terrible!

Bought an Ipod Touch in NY Soho Apple Store last week. Gotta say it's pretty damn hot. A lot slimmer than the iphone.

So it is not an isolated incident...If anyone can confirm their iPods as perfect/defected, I wouldn't mind if you guys said where you got it from
