iPhone possibly coming to Verizon!

There is very compelling evidence that suggests Verizon (perhaps alongside Apple) will be announcing an iPhone on Tuesday, January 11th. Gizmodo is quick to point out that while they are buddies with Big Red, they haven’t been invited to the event—probably due to their breakup with Apple.

Sources have also confirmed that Apple has blacked-out employee vacation requests from February 3rd to the 6th, which indicates a major product launch.

The largest U.S. wireless carrier will say Tuesday that Apple Inc.’s iPhone will be available to its subscribers, according to a person familiar with the matter. -Wall Street Journal

Pretty amazing that we are finally getting the iPhone. Pretty cool in some points but awful in others. Now we are going to see many Att users going to Verizon and getting the iPhone even if a small percentage of AT&T ppl come here, and then a small percentage of VZW users upgrade to a smartphone because the god-almighty-iphone is in the house ... thats a huge percentage that will be added to the network strain, almost overnight(slow 3G speeds).

With Windows Phone 7 you can get the largest laughs, the most massive movies in high definition, and the biggest battles ever witnessed on a phone. I want a phone that will save me from my phones. Windows Phone 7 is designed to let us go in and out that's why I want it. Its all there just how I want it. Windows Phone 7 is much better then anything else because its different. Its got these live tiles on its home screen that no phone has, one look and I can see what my brother is up to, whats happening on facebook, and more. Even Xbox Live! And I am done! Now I can put my phone away spend more time with her and spend less time with my phone(alone).

Not confirmed. WSJ says its true, but neither Verizon nor Apple have ever confirmed it. It might as well be though, it seems very likely.
