Apple is gonna lock everyone in for 2 years...but they'll release a brand new iPhone 1.5 years later just like all their other products...those campers are gonna have beat up iPhones by the end of their contract...and by making them rot for a half a year, they'll frantically buy the next iPhone when their contracts expire and sign their life away for another 2 years.

Apple in every way wants to keep punching you in the stomach for money. And there is no better way to do it than to do it through a cellphone provider. All cellphone plans suck. I hate cellphones and I own one too.
