When it first happened, I thought it was dead. Then, after 20 mins, I decide to turn it on for fun, and it works for like, another whole hour. Then, it turned off. But THIS time, when I tried to turn it on, it would give me the signal that the battery is dead.

So, again, tonight, it happened. But this time, I turned it back on knowing it still had life, and then it would turn back off again. And on. And off. and on. And I know the battery still isn't dead, it keeps saying 20% left.

    It's a 3G 3.1.2 jailbroken & unlocked.

    UPDATE:

So I assumed it was because it was dead again, and decided to plug it in. I checked on it 30 seconds later, and the battery was full? I'm so fucking confused.

Meh, just get a new battery.
There are guides on YouTube that show how to open an iPhone 3G/3GS.
    Good luck.

Ah it's okay I know someone who will do it for me, if I supply the battery, he wont charge me.

    So are new batteries expensive?

    EDIT:

I checked eBay. Is it normal that iPhone batteries are online like. . . 9$ with 3$ shipping and etc? Or are they probably weak as shit or something.
