seems legit, as more games come out for the Wii U I imagine interest will perk up more and more
Really, I think the most fascinating bit of news is that 4% of children aged 6-12 asked for an Apple TV.
That's 4% higher than what I would've guessed.
Dat kids list. iPhone iPad iPod iPad
Anyway not too surprising. Interesting to see that the DS is sitting at nearly the same score as the 3DS though...
Poor, poor Vita.. If they don't do well this Christmas, I can't see how they'll hold up after..
Also, nubs use the Apple TV, smart kids build their own HTPC with XBMC.
Yeah Vita isn't headed in a good direction, who knows what will happen :/
I wouldn't say that Apple TV is only for nubs though. If you have multiple entertainment systems sometimes the one HTPC system isn't enough. So having a Roku or AppleTV hooked up in a bedroom is a lot easier than building a whole new setup. For 89$ or less I can get a Roku and setup netflix, so I think that is one of the easiest solutions right now. I wish that CableCard Ready tvs were out though, it is really annoying that you must have a giant cable box in every room with TV + cable now.
Holy balls Batman how many people want a fucking iPad.
I mean I'd like an iPad as much as the next guy but it's not the top of my list.
I've never understood the attraction to tablets.
Besides being an innovate device, it seems like a another consumer item meant to say "Hey, I have so much money I wasted it on this tablet."
Yeah, but tablets are nice because in some instances it's better than the alternative laptop. You can just press one button, open a browser, and search. Meanwhile, a laptop needs to be booted up from sleep/power off mode, login, wait for everything to load, then open the browser. And not to mention, tablets don't overheat if you have it on your lap on a couch.
I plan to use it to take notes and use the other things on my free time.
I'm in the 18% according to this.
Use my laptop to move around in a set area most of the time and planning to use a tablet when
I'm out and about. Save some power for my phone as well since I would be using the tablet to
do thinks I normally do on the phone.
Yet apple got a beating in the market this month. This goes to show that wall street is as irrational as a needy girlfriend and needs regulation.
The Nintendo DS is more wanted than the PS3 and the 360?
How can kids even know about an AppleTV? And are they even old enough to answer surveys?
Vita near bottom. Legit.
I'm more surprised at the Microsoft Surface. Like does no one really want it?
It looks like they're only scratching the surface of their potential.
I'm surprised people want computers. With all the mobility today, I find it quite amazing.
(I couldn't access the article, but I presume iPad got more votes)
The moment when the Wii U will overtake the iPad, it'll say "iPhone, iPad, I pwn, I smack".
Quoted from a popular video that I shall not name.
What surprises me is the lack of advertising I have seen (aside from being on here and just cant help but know there's a new console out) , ain't seen a tv commercial or a poster anywhere, yet this poll shows the wii u right up there.(in the UK at least and this is a US poll.)
Then I guess that's a slight indication why there's still 20% wanting a Wii.
Tablets are great for the casual user. They are smaller, lighter, cheaper and can do the tasks these individuals need.
For a casual user, there is no need to waste extra money on a laptop/PC... Unless you really need it that is.
Not really a surprise where Microsoft's Surface lands. Other than that, I'm pretty much shocked at the amount of Apple in that list. Good how Nintendo manages to get a long with them.
