Shop channel needs IOS61 and the Wiiware games might need IOS38 and IOS53 or something. If you haven't already, upgrade to 4.0 through Waninkoko's updater and you should get everything you need. It should also install the latest shop channel as well.

IOS's don't have regions so you're at least fine in that regard. Doing an official update should get all of your IOS's up to date, though I'm not sure what you are at now to try it. Have you been messing with changing the region of your Wii or did you update with an out of region game or something? If you did that, updating to a higher firmware of your original region should fix any semi brick problem.

Here's a thread on a duplicate channel remover

i updated a few times back when my wii was chiped games i imported bleach, smash bros x, and a few other japanese games. then my wii died 3 days before the gamestop smash bros tournament.

    anyways

i tourned off my wii back then for like a year... then updated just recently to 4.0 i followed the guide listed here http://yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=113 then after that guide i tryed downloading and installing random ios files i thought i was missing...

i kind of want to just get a nand dump of my friends wii that it works on and flash it over my wii >.< i find it really frustrating that my wii has so many issues. i wish i could wipe it and start over.

you cant flash your friends nand dump to your wii it wont work....
best option is to just update via big-n and then use one of the new bug restoring apps on ure wii...

    IOS53
    IOS38
