I want to create a ios downgrader. But i've a question.

How can i store the downloaded ios in the wii fs?

In fact, i think i can install an old ios if my homebrew is using the ios35. But i need to stock the ios in the wii file system when i download it. An other option is to keep all the ios in memory, but it's a very bad way to do that.

thank you.

why is is better to write on NAND instead of storing it in main memory ?
PatchMii do IOS patching (downgrading is the same) on the fly and is perfectly safe

Imo, messing with the File System is more dangerous when you simply want to store temporary data

patchMii save temp files on the isfs with the "save_nus_object" method.

It isn't dangerous to write to the fileSystem because it's separated from the nand. I don't want add my cios, i want to store a downloaded file!!

ddp127, i've read the source code of waninkoko downgraders, but they only work on a non-virgin 4.0!! Me i'm on a 4.0 with only the HBC. And i wan't to downgrade the ios35 (i know that CMDVDX34 do it, but i want to understand how it works).
