    Pod2G's Newest 5.0.1 Jailbreak

[CODENAME : CORONA] For A4 iDevices...

    In-depth Guide...

iDevices that are compatible with this UNTETHERED Jailbreak [5.0.1 r1,r2]:

    iPhone 3GS Newer BootROM. iPhone 4 GSM/CDMA. iPod Touch 3G. iPod Touch 4G. iPad 1G WiFi/WiFi+3G.

You'll be good to go if you have these avaliable devices. BTW Just to tell everyone the difference between A4 and A5.
A4 is slower than A5. And A4/A5 have different bootroms. That's why GeoHotz Limera1n exploit DOES NOT Work with A5 Devices. But Pod2G's does because it is a Software and user-land exploit. Based on vulnerabillities on the current firmware (5.0.1).
"If you are on A5 Devices. Update to 5.0.1 Before it is too late!" [posixn1nja and Pod2G].

    5. With Mac you don't have to do what Window users do

    3. Actual Jailbreaking Steps.

You make reference to illegal materials, remove them please. I would not like to see you get a warn while being so new.

    This would be fine.

Another new member who didn't read the rules. Talking about a program solely with piracy intent and even giving a guide ow to install it.

How does this guide to piracy directly. Thats like giving a guide to homebrew on the Wii but not saying how to get Wii games.

I wanted to ask if its normal to wait 5+ minutes for a source to download. I have been waiting nearly 10 mins for each source Im adding in cydia.

No, it like giving a link to a site that has roms, isos, etc. We can indirectly help by saying google it, but we can't link or give the name of the sites out.

Also what type of connection are you using? 3G, or Wifi?

I am using Wifi on my own network but to be fair the signal is 1/3. I'll try to move closer to my router.

Also I did not at all see him post URL sources. TC if your reading this try to edit them out so that you dont get banned. Since your new its not your fault but watch out next time.

you way want to include the use of sn0wbreezee v2.8b11 for windows users, it's like pwnagetool but it is windows only. also, it's teathered, so you'l need to mention that users need to install corona afterwards.

it would be better to put your links like this instead of gbatemp http://gbatemp.net/

You've already stated in step 4 that it applies to windows only, there is no need for step 5.

Also, your overuse of smilieys makes this rather unprofessional (becuase this guude is for n00bs and you want to sound as if you're the expert here)

EDIT: resize your title zo that it fits in one line like..

Mac torrent link is broken, and is against rules anyway, seeing as it is a modified IPSW, which is illegal to redistribute.

With the recent release of the jailbreak most of the big repos are getting hammered as people rejailbreak their device for the untether. It normally takes a while to refresh but not 5 minutes.

Why do we need two jailbreak guides? One clearly more useful than the other and more stuff packed into it.

The more useful one being the one Dialexio and I started(but only maintained by Dialexio now)

So I see now. But when the link was broken, it looked to me like it was to a torrent of a custom IPSW.

Dialexio's guide is much better, a bit messy (especially for noobs) but better.
