I've already locked my nnid to alberta, canada so there's no way for me to lose my previously bought games. (bought them before the update in the mexican eshop).

Can I input any postal code from alberta when it asks me for my billing postal code or am i screwed? I'm going to use a philippine credit card and we use a 4 digit zip code here, not alphanumeric postal codes.

Really want to know before I push through since I don't want to deal with the bank or Nintendo if something happens.

Dunno' about Canada, but my NNID says I live in Texas though I put in an Alaskan zip code so I don't get eShop tax, I've had no problems with the two conflicting locations.
