When I say turn on I mean the backlight coming on after power button is pressed because right now the units behavior is already this. I guess I need to discern whether the chip is fried, or if it's components around it, or both...?

I know there is a pin you can check the voltage on MT when I do that where do I put my probes? one to ground and one to the pin? Or both on the pin.

What exactly does the USB strip do? Does is prevent the switch to stuck in RCM mode, after power off the console? So it doesn't drain the battery anymore?

Ive Noticed that my RCM X86 drains some Battery over night. The Console is completly turned off.

Ive charged it to 100% and now it only has 91%.

The 3V on the Chip is connected to the 3V on the EMMC Module.

Nope. It says I`m watching this thread.

My days of messing around with phpbb3 and its cronies are long behind me.

And I haven`t got a bloody clue. Sums me up really lol

You can try to unwatch it then re-watch and enable notifications see if that help , if not you would need a moderator/admin probably.

Ugh I ripped the data pads on the trinket. I used a hot air rework station to remove the usb port, and it came off cleanly but I messed up when trying to solder the wires. I heard that you can use the legs on the chip, bit they're so damn tiny. Is this the only option?
