Gaming Interesting question about Pokemon Platinum Migration..

Hello, of course, I am new here. So this may be in the wrong section.
Anyway, I was wondering a certain thing. I've been reading around, and I've been seeing mixed answers.
Is it possible to migrate Pokemon from Pokemon Firered, for example, being played on a GBA flash cart inserted in Slot 2 of the NDS to a LEGIT Pokemon Platinum cartridge in Slot one? Or will I need to have a legit Pokemon Firered Cartridge rather than a Flash cart?

I don't know, but I think it's possible, since I have an original FireRed and un-original Platinum on R4 and it works, it might not work in your case but I think it should.

not 100% sure, but a lot of people have asked the same thing and the answers said: the pokemon diamond, pearl, platinum games look for a specific code from the game they are migrating from, and the slot 2 device is unable to replicate that.

i think that you will need the real version to migrate, or go get pokesav for platinum and edit the pokemon in the Pal Park
