I see pretty much every other (older) system imaginable has an emulator for the Wii... Why so shy about the Intellivision?

    cmon...
    Dig Dug
    B-17 Bomber
    Centipede
    Frogger
    Pac-Man
    Pitfall
    Q*Bert
    Sea Battle
    Shark! Shark!
    Triple Action
    Tron Deadly Discs

    Inspire anyone?!
It would be great to know if this was in the works or even possible... I miss the good ol' Intellivision games...

It is definitely possible. I have it on my Xbox. All they would need to do is port an already existing emu to the Wii. The real question is does anyone have any interest in it (besides me and you!) and are they working on it at all? Perhaps these people doing the porting are not as old as I am, haha. For now you can at least play some of the same games on Atari (Stella). Still going to miss out on a lot of them though. But since they competed directly against each other during their time many of the games were released on both systems.

I've not played an INTV emu (nor a ColecoVison one, either), how does the keypad factor in? Games like D&D and Utopia use it quite a bit.

Intellivision games are still being marketed officially. In this world of homebrew, pirates, emulators and ROMs, I don't know why that really matters, but it seems to.

I would assume someone could add in Classic control pad, or Keyboard...

Looks like the 'Bliss' Emulator has source code available right on their site, maybe this will help someone to port it:

Bliss is a great emu. I have never had any issues with it. That is about as solid as they come. Someone PLEASE port it! Shark, Shark! Venture!, D&D!
